Hey there…my name is January Gallagher.
I could not think of anywhere I would rather be then
outdoors. I started working on a ropes course up in Maine in 2007 over a period
of 3 summers. When I completed my undergraduate work at SUNY Geneseo and moved
back to Syracuse I wanted to be involved with ropes courses again. This will be my second season working with TEAM Adventure both at Adams Eden Camp and at the Adventure Center. I am a
substitute for the Syracuse City Schools and through that I was able to meet
Tom and join TEAM Adventure. I am currently finishing my Masters at SUNY
Cortland in Math and Science Curriculum, and hope to be a middle school math
teacher by the fall of 2011. There is so much with Adventure that I will be
able to incorporate into my math classroom. I love being a part of TEAM Adventure and have the best of times working with everyone. TEAM Adventure has
taught me many tools that I will integrate into my future classroom and
everyday life.
